Annual Eagle Scout Awards

The National Eagle Scout Association provides opportunities for Eagle Scouts to be recognized for their accomplishments. These recognitions are provided at the local and National level. The awards and honors provided here are standard throughout the organization.

 

NESA Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year 

The Ventura County Council's NESA Committee is seeking applications from the Council's Eagle Scout Class of 2021 for the Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award.  The award recognizes the Scout for his Eagle Scout service project, one of the requirements for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

Tom-Bob Carr National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship

The Eagle Scout speaker at the Annual NESA Eagle Recognition on March 15, 2022 will receive a $500 scholarship check. In order to have an opportunity in being selected, send in a written speech according to the rules.  A panel of judges* will read your speech and listen to an oral presentation to select the winner.

NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award

The Ventura County Council NESA Committee is currently accepting nominations for the National Eagle Scout Association Outstanding Eagle Scout Award. This is a prestigious recognition granted by the local council's NESA committee to Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated outstanding achievement at the local, state or regional level. The NOESA recognizes Eagle Scouts whose efforts have made a positive impact in the community.
