Eagle Scout Resource Bullet Points

 

1.        Download and read the Eagle Scout Project Workbook(New 2012 edition)   

*   The workbook is to be used in planning, receiving the necessary approvals for, carrying out, and then reporting on the completion of your project.

2.        After completing your project and all other requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout, you should then download and read the Eagle Scout Rank Application in its entirety. (New 2012 edition)

3.        Fill out the Eagle Scout Rank Application. 

*     VERY IMPORTANT:   To complete the application, you are required to list references of people that will speak on your behalf.  At the same moment in which you confirm your references willingness to participate, please either e-mail them the link to or download and send them a copy of the Sample Reference Letter and Return Envelope specifics so that they appropriately assist you in meeting this requirement. 

4.        If you need help, ask your unit leader or your unit advancement committee person to assist you.

5.        Secure the signatures of your unit leader and the unit committee chairman on your Eagle Scout Rank Application.

6.        Submit your Eagle Scout Rank Application and the ambition statement about yourself (requirement 6) with your Eagle Scout Project Workbook to your local council service center.

7.        The contents of your application will be certified and if a letter (as mentioned above) has not already been received from your references they will be contacted by your District Advancement Committee.  After certification and reference verification, you will be contacted by the Eagle Scout Board of Review Chairman, who will set your board of review date.
