Throw out your old, unwanted electronic devices and benefit the earth, and the youth of Ventura County!! All businesses and citizens- bring your old computer, audio, video, TV, and electronic equipment for recycling.
The Boy Scouts will be there to assist with your items, offer you a donation slip for your equipment and any financial donation you wish to leave. For questions or more information contact Bill Dundas at 805-368-2206.

 It's Time! The 2009 Council Popcorn Sale is just around the corner. Sign up today to help raise money for your unit's year-round program. Units can earn substaintial money by participating in the sale to benefit Scouting in their unit.
Jamboree Troops will be selling popcorn as well to help support individual Scout efforts to attend Jamboree.
Show & Sell Orders are due AUGUST 25th, the 2009 Popcorn Sale begins Saturday, September 12, 2009 with the Show & Sell popcorn distribution on the morning of September 12th.

Celebrate Scouting's 100th Anniversary! It's not too late for Scouts to sign up for the chance of a lifetime! The 2010 Jamboree Troops still have 15 openings for youth to attend.
JAMBOREE TROOP MEETING
Jamboree participants, youth and adult will have their first general meeting on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the LDS Stake Center on Erbes Rd. in Thousand Oaks, CA. All youth signed up for Jamboree should plan to attend. Youth will get valuable information on the Jamboree, tour and Troop assignments. Please call the council office if you have questions 805-482-8938.
Cost may be perceived as a barrier, however, each Troop is incorporating many different fundraising efforts so that no youth should have cost as a barrier. This and many other topics will be discussed at the JAMBOREE MEETING ON JULY 21, 2009. For full details click on the the 2010 VCC Jamboree link on the home page.
